We presented findings from our project on international students’ experiences of working while studying at the ‘Navigating Polycrisis through Research with International Students 2026 Conference’.

Our paper explored how international students navigate challenges of seeking work experiences in the UK and their agentic responses to some of the barriers they encounter.
